Seniors are all smiles on Thanksgiving after bringing the Brother William Drinan Trophy back home to Xaverian. Xaverian beat rival St. John’s Prep in Danvers. 10 NFL players have played in the prestigious Xaverian vs Prep Thanksgiving game.

The Xaverian Community gathers to celebrate Founder’s Day Liturgy.  The values of compassion, humility, simplicity, trust, and zeal are deeply rooted in the Xaverian Brothers history and tradition.

A celebrity guest made an appearance at last week’s Xaverian Dance. The Xaverian Hawk is working hard to spread the word about this year’s Santa Hawk Toy Drive.

Junior Matt Champagne of Walpole spoke with a representative from Loyola University Chicago at Monday’s college fair. The Guidance Department schedules two college fairs every fall, and one more for Juniors in the spring. 95 colleges are invited to each college fair, held in the gym. The Guidance Department also schedules 30-40 individual college visits throughout the year.

Freshmen Michael Friedman of Medfield, Mark Lallak of Natick, and Troy Neubecker of Wrentham were hard at work on Monday completing a lab report in Mr. Puclowski’s biology class. Mr. Puclowski is a member of the class of ’98.

Freshman Matt Cunningham of Weymouth, and Senior David Larkin of Quincy faced off in the cafeteria during an intramural ping pong competition after school. Matt Cunningham won and went on to be named tournament champion!
Junior DJ Pagliuca of Franklin avoided three Somerville tacklers during the varsity football team’s 34-0 victory last weekend.
